Dr. Enrique Obando Arbulu, Staff Coordinator for the Peruvian Ministry of Defense, lead a delegation of senior officers from the Peruvian military on a visit to the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA today.
The visit served as tool to present the Ministry of Defense and the Peruvian Military involved in military education in Peru with information on how the United States military conducts military education at various levels. The visit supports the U.S. Southern Command Theater Security Cooperation Plan for Peru by establishing programs for sustained professionalism within the officer corps, promoting Jointness and assisting with excellence in Peruvian military education programs.
The visit allowed delegation members to better understand standardized joint military education for different services at the Joint Forces Staff College.
