Colonel Brandon Durant is a Senior Air Battle Manager with over two-thousand flight hours of which 650 were in combat. He is also a Joint Qualified Officer currently serving as a Faculty Member of the Joint Advanced Warfighter School and is the US Air Force Chairperson for the Joint Forces Staff College inside of National Defense University.
Colonel Durant previously served as the Chief of the Strategic Integration Division in the Unites States Africa Command’s Joint Operations Directorate. Colonel Durant has also commanded at the squadron level, and was a staff officer in the Office of Public Affairs, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters United States Air Force.
Colonel Durant is a native of Kansas and was commissioned from ROTC in 2000 as a distinguished graduate. His undergraduate is from Kansas State University in Microbiology, and he holds three Masters Degrees from the University of Oklahoma, George Mason University and National Defense University respectively.
His awards and decorations include one Defense Superior Service Medal, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, three Meritorious Service Medals, an Air Medal, and the Joint Commendation Medal.
