We are excited to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Joint Forces Staff College on 13–14 August 2026!
The celebration will include an Opening Ceremony, Joint Foundations Panel, dedication of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Command Suite, International Hall of Fame Panel, Anniversary Reception, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and a JFSC Picnic.
JFSC’s story began at the end of World War II, when General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz recognized that the hard-earned lessons of joint warfare had to be preserved for future generations. Established in Norfolk in 1946 as the Armed Forces Staff College, the College has carried that purpose forward for eight decades.
