In recognition of Women's history Month, we share a commentary written by Lt Col Jennifer E. Kennedy, USAF. Lt Col Kennedy is an instructor in the Joint and Combined Warfighting School, JFSC. Her decision to join the service came amidst the 1992 Tailhook scandal and questionable treatment of women in the military at that time. The following is her testimony to joining the service and her thoughts on the impact of the women who paved the way for her.
