The Joint Information School educates and trains military officers and civilian equivalents in the concepts, applications, and procedures associated with C4I and Operations in the Information Environment planning in joint and multinational environments. The school is composed of a C4I section (Joint Staff J6 sponsored) and the Joint Information division, offering a variety of educational opportunities to the joint community. The goal of the school is to prepare you to serve in a variety of positions critical to the success of U.S. and Coalition C4I and Information efforts. Experienced instructors, expert guest speakers from across DoD and the interagency, and a dynamic curriculum, which keeps pace with today’s rapidly evolving operational environment, are combined to provide DoD and interagency students the very best in C4I and Information instruction.

Congrats to the graduates of the JMTC 25-2 class!
The JMTC curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the types of MILDEC, the MILDEC Planning Process, and how to develop DoD Deception Activities (DDA) plans, series, and executions. JMTC establishes a common foundational training for planners assigned to joint, operational-level MILDEC billets. Course objectives are accomplished in a joint seminar environment through multi-media presentations, instructor-led lectures, guest lectures, case studies, and practical exercises. Students are assessed on their doctrinal knowledge and practical application understanding during two critical assessments. Below is a photo of the JMTC 25-2 class:
